Getting an accurate diagnosis is the first step in understanding what’s affecting your fertility or reproductive health. At The Andrology Clinic, we offer comprehensive diagnostic testing, carried out in a discreet, supportive environment by leading specialists in male reproductive medicine.

Why Diagnosis Matters

Fertility concerns can often go unexplained for too long. Many men come to us after previous investigations have focused solely on their partner. We make sure your health is fully explored, giving you clarity and a real understanding of where you stand. Whether you're just beginning your journey or seeking a second opinion, we’ll help uncover the answers you need to move forward with confidence.

What We Test and Investigate

Depending on your situation, we may recommend one or more of the following diagnostic procedures:

Semen Analysis

The first and most important test for assessing fertility. We measure sperm count, movement (motility), shape (morphology), and overall quality.

DNA Fragmentation Test

Provides a deeper look at sperm health and identifies potential issues with DNA integrity that may affect conception.

Hormonal & Genetic Blood Tests

We examine hormone levels such as testosterone, FSH, and LH, and screen for genetic causes that may impact fertility.

Infection Screening

Tests for signs of infection or inflammation in the genital tract that may be affecting sperm quality or reproductive health.

Ultrasound Imaging

Used to investigate testicular abnormalities, detect varicoceles (enlarged veins), or assess structures like the prostate.

MAR Antibody Test

Checks for antibodies in semen that may cause sperm to stick together, reducing their ability to fertilise an egg.

Testicular Mapping / FNA

Helps identify areas within the testicles where sperm may still be produced, particularly in cases of azoospermia (no sperm in ejaculate).

Prostate Screening

In certain cases, we may carry out prostate assessment to investigate urinary symptoms or screen for prostate cancer.

Your Diagnosis, Explained Clearly

Once your results are ready, we’ll invite you to a follow-up consultation where everything is explained in detail. We’ll walk you through your results and what they mean for your fertility or treatment options. If further tests are needed, we’ll guide you through the next steps.

Our approach is always transparent and tailored to you with no jargon and no guesswork.
